 PROVINCIAL NEGOTIATIONS  BULLETIN #2 ? May 19, 2010

1.   This is to advise that in accordance with the Teachers? Collective Bargaining Act and Article 66.02 of the Teachers? Provincial Agreement, the President of the NSTU requested the Minister of Education to open negotiations for the Teachers? Provincial Agreement. The Teachers? Provincial Agreement expires on July 31, 2010.

2.   The parties have agreed to open negotiations in September 2010.

3.   The date of opening is to be determined.
